M&PG Projects is a boutique construction company established in 2011 by Matt Gillespie, who is a licensed builder and MBA member, with over 20 years’ experience in the building industry in both Australia and United Kingdom. We are trusted by architects and their clients to deliver high end new constructs, alterations & additions and renovations due to our eye for detail and delivery of quality craftsman finishes.

Our expertise includes heritage listed renovations and extensions which honour the history and quality of the spaces our clients entrust our team to faithfully restore.

Our Philosophy

At M&PG Projects we believe in the Kaizen philosophy, the purpose of Kaizen goes beyond simple productivity improvement. When done correctly, the process humanises the workplace, eliminates overly hard work, and teaches people how to spot and eliminate waste in business processes.

Matt Gillespie and his team undertook a major renovation of our terrace house at Surry Hills for which we were very pleased with the professional approach taken and outcome of the project. We found Matt to be extremely approachable and willing to undertake any variations we sought as the work progressed, as well as advise on changes that may have been necessary from the original plan as discoveries were made upon the removal of structure in the original terrace. His liaison and working with our architect was excellent and Matt was agreeable to subtle but necessary changes that the architect made during the project.   • We chose M&PG Project to deliver the architecturally designed renovation of our family home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Matt leads a great team, the quality of their work is outstanding and we were really happy with the end result. Communication was excellent throughout the Project. Each week we met on site to go through the current activities and look ahead at work which was coming up. We found this was a really effective and methodical approach for the extensive scope of work being undertaken. M&PG effectively co-ordinated and managed all the trades and suppliers involved in the project and came up with efficient solutions for pre-existing issues which needed to be remediated.
